Though they sell a variety of sweet treats, from boozy milkshakes to roasted s'mores, Hot Cakes is known most for their rich, molten chocolate lava cakes (shocking I know). This may not seem like the best dessert spot for in the heat of the summer, but these small cakes paired with a scoop of homemade vanilla bean ice cream is the perfect treat to enjoy on a summer night!

You can never go wrong with a delicious cookie for dessert and Hello Robin has mastered the art of the perfect cookie! But, this isn't your typical cookie shop because the most popular item on the menu is a combination of two of their cookies and a scoop of Molly Moon's ice cream, another Seattle-born dessert spot that definitely deserves a mention on this list. Combining these two delectable homemade desserts results in a delicious ice cream sandwich that can’t be beat!

Salt & Straw

​Salt & Straw recently opened their first Seattle locations in 2018, making it the newest Seattle dessert spot on this list. This isn't your classic ice cream shop, with ultra-unique flavors like Beecher's Cheese w/ Peppercorn Toffee and Strawberry Honey Balsamic w/ Black Pepper, in addition to fun seasonal flavors and all the classics, eating here is sure to be an experience. We'd recommend grabbing dinner at one of our favorite Seattle restaurants, The Pink Door and then walking just up the street to Shug’s to split a Sundae with your date for dessert!
