With dimmed lighting, plants galore, vibey music, and rich food, Hot Cakes is probably the most romantic dessert spot on this list. Though they sell a variety of sweet treats, from boozy milkshakes to roasted s'mores, Hot Cakes is known most for their rich, molten chocolate lava cakes (shocking I know). This may not seem like the best dessert spot for in the heat of the summer, but these small cakes paired with a scoop of homemade vanilla bean ice cream is the perfect treat to enjoy on a summer night!

Hello Robin

You can never go wrong with a delicious cookie for dessert and Hello Robin has mastered the art of the perfect cookie! But, this isn't your typical cookie shop because the most popular item on the menu is a combination of two of their cookies and a scoop of Molly Moon's ice cream, another Seattle-born dessert spot that definitely deserves a mention on this list. Combining these two delectable homemade desserts results in a delicious ice cream sandwich that can’t be beat!

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw recently opened their first Seattle locations in 2018, making it the newest Seattle dessert spot on this list. This isn't your classic ice cream shop, with ultra-unique flavors like Beecher's Cheese w/ Peppercorn Toffee and Strawberry Honey Balsamic w/ Black Pepper, in addition to fun seasonal flavors and all the classics, eating here is sure to be an experience. Personally, we opt for the "tasting flight" which gives you four mini scoops of any flavors you choose! Can you think of a better dessert to share with your date?

Pie Bar

Pie Bar is a great place to check out when you and your date have finished dinner and don’t want the night to end, but can't decide whether to go for drinks or dessert! This cozy bar feels like a cross between a brew pub and your grandma's kitchen, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a warm slice of pie and a refreshing beverage. Or, if you really want to try something special, we recommend ordering a pie bar original drink, a fun pie-themed twist on some of your favorite cocktails!

Shug's

Located in Pike Place Market, Shug's Soda Fountain & Ice Cream Bar's retro dinner theme is the perfect ambiance to enjoy a cool dessert on a hot summer day. They sell a variety of ice creams and sodas, but are most known for their elaborate sundaes. We'd recommend grabbing dinner at one of our favorite Seattle restaurants, The Pink Door and then walking just up the street to Shug’s to split a Sundae with your date for dessert!
